“RSS” button is feed every minute with news from :
- Second Life news and reports (all about what is happened in Second Life in that moment. Very useful for know about rolling restarts, regions offline, sim maintenance time and more)“SLX”, “SL-URL” and “WWW” buttons, contain links to some of the best places from SL. Here can find some of the best address for: stores from SL, web address of them, blogs about SL and more. Part of them are placed and updated by our team for you can enjoy them too, and part of them are rented by business group for you to can see what they do and be easy to find and buy their product or visit their clubs or lands.
Next on toolbar you can find a scroll text visible to everyone, with info about different events, news or other things.
Other facilities:
Near the first button where it writes “Second Life” in multi colors, can see a little arrow. If you press on it, a menu will open with ?
some nice facilities there too.”Refresh Toolbar” is one of them, but most important is the last one “Toolbar Options”. You will be surprised about what you will find there in a good way of course. There are four tabs:
1. Personal Components
- E-mail notification ( if is checked you will see on toolbar this button and there can add all your e-mail accounts. You will be notified every time when a mail come into one of your email set up there and can go and read it direct from your toolbar with one click.)
- Privacy Component ( Includes direct cleaner for cookie, history and cache)
- Weather Forecaster (Shows your local weather direct on your toolbar and can be set too with some options)
- Online radio player (easy to listen online few radio web stations and add yours favorite too)
2. Predefined Components
- Contain the all toolbar buttons you see on toolbar and checking or unchecking them you will let them show or not show in your toolbar, and moving them up and down you can customize their position and order in toolbar too.
3. Useful components
- here you can add on your toolbar some windows shortcuts for few application from windows you use them a lot, and you like to have them there too at one click away, and don’t want to open a lot of menu, or close/hide a lot of windows for open one of them. (here is shortcuts for : Calculator, Media player, Word, Excel, Outlook, Paint, Notepad, PowerPoint)
4 Additional setting
- here are few settings about search, history, usage, switch search engine, if you are not an advanced user of computers i suggest to leave them like they are for default.
Also have a Google search field where can type anything you want to search about in Google pages and few options like dictionary, encyclopedia, images, news or even eBay search too.

Second life toolbar is great to work with. I have worked with it. personally i must say that it is of great use for a voracious user like me. the components provided are very much compatable with most of the browsers and one can find no issues in installing them. The experience will be different altogether.

It’s good to look at websites along with material and thx for the share that will you’ve got gave. Generally, I’m very amazed, but etc…
