Microsoft Surface Sphere
Microsoft seems to be unsatisfied by common displays, so they want to make a display out of every thing they can touch. Their last project is a spherical display.
A prototype for this is expected to be launched today. An interesting feature of this display is the possibility of sending files to “the dark side” of the display. If you “touch” the window with your palm and press the windows goes to the opposite side of the sphere.
In the video are presented more features like emulating a globe map or some games.
Next thing to do is to use it with google maps

That’s pretty cool. Yea i like the idea of google maps, give it a more hands on approach. I wonder if they could turn it into a virtual basketball
